Choke setting:
When starting a cold engine, it is usually necessary to close the air damper (air damper), while when starting a hot engine, the air damper can be opened or partially opened. Adjust according to temperature and engine temperature.
• Before starting:
For hand pulled excavators, check if the starting rope is intact and free of entanglement.
Ensure that the ignition switch is in the start position, usually by pushing the switch in the opposite direction of "STOP".
• Startup process:
Stabilize the excavator with one hand and hold the start handle with the other. Quickly and forcefully pull the starting rope, usually requiring 3-5 consecutive pulls until the engine starts. When pulling, it should be inclined and stable to avoid sudden jerking.
After the engine starts, if there is a choke, it should gradually open to the normal working position.
If it fails to start for the first time, wait for a moment and try again. If necessary, check the fuel supply, spark plug condition, or air filter for blockage.
• Preheating and idling:
After starting the engine, let it run at idle for a period of time to warm up the engine.
Before officially starting excavation, it is advisable to increase the throttle appropriately to put the engine into working mode, but avoid sudden acceleration in hard soil that may cause overload.

Before starting the excavation operation, ensure that the drill bit is installed correctly and the safety devices are in place.
