    product description

When the engine overheats, taking the following temporary emergency measures can help prevent further damage:
    1. Immediately slow down and stop: If you notice the water temperature warning light on the dashboard or feel the engine overheating, you should quickly but steadily reduce the speed and find a safe place to stop. It is best to choose a shaded or cool place to avoid parking in busy or dangerous areas.
    2. Turn on warning lights: Immediately turn on the dual flashing warning lights after parking to remind other vehicles to avoid danger.
    3. Open the engine hood: Wait for the engine to cool down slightly (to avoid burns), then open the engine hood to speed up the heat dissipation process.
    4. Idle running: Keep the engine idling and do not turn off the engine unless the water temperature is very high or there is a noticeable abnormality in the engine. Idle speed can maintain the circulation of the cooling system and help dissipate heat.
    5. Turn off the air conditioning and turn on the heating: Turn off the air conditioning system, turn on the interior heating to the highest temperature, and open the window to help the engine dissipate heat.
    6. Check the cooling system: After the engine temperature drops to a safe level, check the level of the coolant (antifreeze) reservoir. If the liquid level is low and the engine has cooled sufficiently, the coolant can be slowly added to the specified mark. Attention: Do not open the coolant reservoir cap directly when the engine is overheated to avoid steam burns.
    7. Do not forcibly continue driving: Even if the engine temperature seems to return to normal, do not immediately resume driving. Wait at least half an hour to confirm that there are no signs of further overheating before driving, and go to the repair shop for inspection as soon as possible.
    8. Emergency heat dissipation: If you are on a highway and there is no safe parking spot nearby, you can open all car windows, use the emergency lane to slowly drive to the nearest service area or exit, and turn on the air conditioning and heating to the maximum to help with heat dissipation.
