Principle of electric wrench

The working principle of the electric wrench is to generate torque through the built-in electric motor to connect the wrench head to the workpiece to achieve fast and efficient tightening operations. ‌‌

An electric wrench is an electrically powered tool commonly used to tighten and loosen screws, nuts and other parts. It generates torque through a built-in electric motor to connect the wrench head to the workpiece to achieve fast and efficient tightening operations. The working principle of an electric wrench is similar to that of a conventional wrench, using rotational torque to tighten or loosen bolts. However, compared with traditional wrenches, electric wrenches are driven by a motor. The rotation speed of the motor is reduced and the torque is increased through a reduction device, thereby achieving more efficient tightening operations. In addition, the electric wrench is also equipped with a clutch and a torque adjustment device, which can adjust the output torque as needed to adapt to bolts of different specifications and materials.

The main components of an electric wrench include power supply, motor, transmission device and wrench head. The power source can be a battery or an external power source, and the motor is responsible for rotating the power transmitted to the wrench head. The transmission device usually includes gears or chains, etc., which are used to transmit the rotational force of the motor to the wrench head. The wrench head is the part that is in direct contact with the workpiece. Sockets of different sizes can usually be replaced to accommodate bolts of different specifications.

When using an electric wrench, you need to pay attention to some safety matters, such as checking that the switch is in the off state, confirming that the power supply voltage is consistent, selecting a matching socket and installing it properly, etc. In addition, select a matching socket according to the size of the nut, and ensure that the metal shell of the electric wrench is reliably grounded. When using extension cables, you need to use cables with sufficient capacity and qualified installation to avoid over- or under-voltage conditions. When working on a ladder or working at height, measures should be taken to prevent falling from height.
