How to repair a chainsaw

Step 1: We will indirectly manually pull the chainsaw to check the overall operation status. At this time, we can judge based on the lost information: whether there is a stuck cylinder (those who have experience can indirectly judge whether there is tightening and pulling), whether there is any abnormal noise (can judge whether the magnetic flywheel and crankshaft are damaged), and whether the starting assembly has any results. Replace or maintain components according to relevant conditions.

Step 2: Discriminate the circuit. Remove the spark plug (located under the air filter cover) and reflect on whether the spark plug can accumulate carbon and whether the contact is normal. Make the spark plug discharge partially contact the cylinder or conductive parts with the crankcase, and pull the chainsaw. At this time, you can reflect on the circuit, such as whether there is electricity, the size of the electricity, and whether the discharge distance is bumpy. This step can reflect on whether the spark plug, coil, and igniter are functioning properly.

Step 3: Use your fingers to block the inside of the cylinder spark plug and pull the pull plate to reflect on whether the cylinder can pull. Or remove the muffler and check if there are any pulling marks on the piston from the cylinder muffler.

Step 4: Check the oil circuit. Remove the carburetor and clean it, and adjust the carburetor pointer appropriately according to the condition. Unscrew the fuel cap and check the fuel filter head. And check for any damage to the oil pipes, intake pipes, etc.
