    product description

The reasons and solutions for the heating of the chainsaw guide plate and chainsaw chain:
    1. Insufficient or no oil supply
Solution: Add engine oil in a timely manner and clear the oil supply circuit, such as the oil filter head, oil pump, and oil pipe. The bottom of the oil pump can be adjusted with a straight screwdriver to adjust the oil output, usually 60-70%.
    2. Blocked guide plate oil hole or guide plate groove
Solution: Use an air blower to clean the wood chips or debris on the guide plate.
    3. The width of the guide plate groove does not match the specifications of the chain guide tooth width
Solution: It is recommended to replace it with a matching specification.
    4. The guide plate is bent unevenly
Solution: It is recommended to directly replace the guide plate.
    Other precautions:
Although the lubricating oil requirements between the chainsaw guide plate and the chain are not too high, it is generally acceptable to use waste engine oil that has been replaced. However, before use, it is necessary to filter out any debris in the engine oil to avoid blockage.
Do not adjust the guide plate and chain of the chainsaw too tightly or too loosely. It is required that the chain should be tightly attached to the guide plate after installation, and the chain can be freely pushed forward when using a screwdriver to push the zipper strip. When pulling the chain away from the guide plate after installation, it can be pulled up by about half of the guide chain teeth. The Korep chainsaw uses imported Origen chains
Note that the groove width specification of the guide plate corresponds to the thickness of the guide teeth of the chain. Under normal circumstances, the guide tooth thickness of 325 is 1.5mm, and most guide teeth larger than 3/8 are 1.6mm.
Purchase qualified guide plates. High quality guide plates generally have a hard and wear-resistant texture, and the guide plates are flat without any bending phenomenon. Here, we recommend the Koripu guide plate.
