Safety operating procedures for ordinary chainsaws

1. Before using the chainsaw for the first time, it is necessary to carefully read all operating instructions. Failure to follow the safety rules of the chainsaw can lead to life-threatening situations.

2. Minors are not allowed to use chainsaws.

3. Children, pets, and onlookers who are unrelated to the work site should stay away from the site to prevent trees from falling and injuring them.

4. The personnel operating the chainsaw must be in good physical condition, resting well, healthy, and in a good mental state, and should take a break from work in a timely manner. They cannot use the chainsaw after drinking alcohol.

5. Do not work alone and keep an appropriate distance from others to provide timely rescue in emergency situations.

6. Wear tight and anti cutting protective work clothes and corresponding labor protection equipment according to regulations, such as helmets, protective glasses, sturdy labor protection gloves, anti slip labor protection shoes, etc., and also wear brightly colored vests.

7. Do not wear work coats, skirts, scarves, ties, or jewelry, as these items may be entangled by small branches and pose a danger.

8. During the transportation of chainsaws, the engine should be turned off and a chain protective cover should be put on.

9. Do not modify the chainsaw without authorization to avoid endangering personal safety.

10. The chainsaw can only be handed over or lent to someone who knows how to use it, accompanied by a user manual.

11. When using, be careful not to get close to the machine to prevent burns from the burning muffler and other hot machine components.

12. When there is no fuel in the hot engine during work, it should be stopped for 15 minutes and the engine should cool down before refueling. Before refueling, the engine must be turned off, smoking is not allowed, and gasoline should not be spilled.

13. Only refuel the chainsaw in a well ventilated area. Once gasoline spills, clean the chainsaw immediately. Do not get gasoline on work clothes. Once it gets on, replace it immediately.

14. Check the operating safety of the chainsaw before starting.

15. When starting the chainsaw, it is necessary to maintain a distance of at least three meters from the refueling location.

16. Do not use a chainsaw in a closed room, as the engine will emit colorless and odorless toxic carbon monoxide gas during the operation of the chainsaw. When working in ditches, grooves, or narrow areas, it is necessary to ensure sufficient air circulation.

17. Do not smoke while using a chainsaw or near it to prevent a fire.

18. The working height should not be higher than the operator's shoulder, and it is absolutely not allowed to saw several branches at the same time; Don't lean too forward when working.

19. When working, be sure to hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands, stand firmly, and be careful of slipping into danger. Do not work in areas with unstable foundations, do not stand on ladders or trees, and do not use one hand to hold a saw for work.

20. Do not allow foreign objects to enter the chainsaw, such as stones, nails, and other objects that may be rotated and thrown to damage the saw chain, and the chainsaw may bounce and injure people.

21. Pay attention to the adjustment of idle speed, and ensure that the chain cannot rotate along after releasing the throttle. When the chainsaw blade does not trim branches or transfer work points, please put the chainsaw throttle in the idle position.

22. Chainsaws can only be used for logging, and should not be used for planing branches or tree roots or other operations.

When maintaining and repairing the chainsaw, always turn off the engine and remove the high-voltage wire of the spark plug.

24. In adverse weather conditions such as strong winds, heavy rain, snow, or fog, the use of a chainsaw is prohibited.

25. Dangerous warning signs should be set up around the chainsaw operation site, and unrelated personnel should be kept 15 meters away.
