product DETAILS
product description
We all know that a chainsaw is a device powered by a gasoline engine. When receiving a chainsaw, if it causes numbness or vibration during operation, or if some components are easily damaged or broken, then it is necessary to pay attention to whether the engine is installed on the equipment and vibrates too much. There are many hazards of abnormal vibration, which can make operators easily fatigued. Excessive vibration can easily cause fatigue and fracture of machine components such as air filters, carburetors, fuel tanks, engine mounts, etc.
Most users do not have professional vibration measurement equipment to quantify vibration values, but we can still make judgments through the following three methods.
(1) Feeling with hands: Touch with fingers to see if it shakes your hands;
(2) Listen with your ears: listen to the mechanical noise of the entire device for any abnormal noises;
(3) Eye inspection: Check if there is any obvious ghosting phenomenon on the engine's muffler, air filter and other parts, and if so, it indicates significant vibration.
If it is found that the engine vibrates significantly within a certain speed range, it is important to note that there is resonance between the engine and the equipment. When encountering resonance, there is no need to worry. You can use the following two methods to eliminate resonance.
1. The shock absorber block is broken
The high vibration of the chainsaw is likely due to a broken shock absorber, which needs to be replaced.
2. Add shock-absorbing devices
By adding shock absorbers to cushion the vibration of the engine and equipment. There are spring type, air type, and rubber type shock absorbers, among which rubber shock absorbers are easy to obtain and have cost advantages, and are widely accepted. It is important to remind that inferior rubber pads should not be used to install them under the engine, as over time, inferior rubber pads are prone to aging, cracking, or falling off, resulting in loose fixing screws during engine operation and causing damage or danger to parts.
3. At the same time, incorrect ignition angle, low idle speed, poor engine combustion, and poor spark plug ignition can all cause excessive vibration of the chainsaw.
